Start with what you know
Open your last bank or credit card statement and look for recurring charges.
Add each one with its name, cost, and next billing date. If you are not sure
of the exact date, use the date you remember seeing the charge most recently.
You can always edit it later.
Mark free trials clearly
Free trials are the most expensive surprises. When you add one, set the trial
end date. The tracker will flag it in red when the end date is within three
days. If you decide to keep the service, uncheck the trial box and set the
renewal date instead.
Use the calendar to plan ahead
The calendar shows every active subscription with a renewal or trial end date
in the next 60 days. Items due this week appear in amber. Trials ending soon
appear in red. Use this view to decide what to cancel before the charge goes
through.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Forgetting annual plans that renew once a year.
- Ignoring family plans you share with someone else.
- Assuming a trial will not convert without warning.
- Setting the wrong renewal date after a price change.
What this tracker does not do
It does not connect to your bank, email, or app store. It cannot read receipts
or cancel services for you. It is a reminder and planning tool. You still need
to cancel directly with each provider.
Sharing and printing
Use the share button to copy a link that encodes your current list in the URL.
Open that link on another device to see the same list. Use the print button for
a clean paper copy. Avoid sharing the link on public screens if you want your
list to stay private.
